Nigerian sculptor Nnamdi Okonkwo created this monumental sculpture that stands outside of Fifth Avenue on the Park, a condominium building in Harlem. The sculpture stands right in front of Marcus Garvey Park and has been cause to much controversy. Many people claimed that the statue gave a bad representation of Black women but through it all the sculpture has remained to our delight.
