Tokyo artist Shohei (aka Hakuchi) Otomo(featured in Hi-Fructose Vol. 20). Peruvian artist Joaquin Alberto Vargas y Chávez, who back then went by the moniker Varga, was the illustrator for a 1945 calendar issued by Esquire Magazine.
