holla x1Michael always comes home at Halloween !!

According to many scholars, All Hallows’ Eve is a Christianized feast initially influenced by Celtic harvest festivals, with possible pagan roots, particularly the Gaelic Samhain. Other scholars maintain that it originated independently of Samhain and has solely Christian root. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related “guising“), attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted house attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. In many parts of the world, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows’ Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remain popular, although in other locations, these solemn customs are less pronounced in favor of a more commercialized and secularized celebration. – – Read more on Wikipedia Continue reading

Halloween or Hallowe’en (/ˌhæləˈwin, ˈin, ˌhɒl/; a contraction of “All HallowsEvening“),also known as All Hallows’ Eve, is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. It initiates the triduum of Hallowmas, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers. According to many scholars, All Hallows’ Eve is a Christianized feast initially influenced by Celtic harvest festivals, with possible pagan roots, particularly the Gaelic Samhain. Other academics maintain that it originated independently of Samhain and has solely Christian roots.  Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related “guising” or “trunk-or-treating“), attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. – – more Read CLICK

I know, you’re worried if anyone’s ever kicked the bucket in your house, ever?

Not to worry, Help is on the Way. We’ve found a NEW website with ALL the Answers.

dead people LIVE here

Think you’re witnessing paranormal activity at home? Forget ghost hunters — there’s a website for that. Homeowners and renters can now get answers at DiedInHouse.com, which for $11.99 will tell you if anyone has died in your home. The site, a sort of Carfax meets afterlife history report, scours multiple sources to determine if anyone has departed this life in your home before. It’s a task that’s easier said than done, according to the site’s founder Roy Condrey. “It’s harder to find things like this out than you think,” he told the Houston Chronicle. After Condrey learned that most states do not require home sellers or real estate agents to disclose a death there, he sought to create a service that provided death records for a specific address, according to his website. That information might seem to make it tougher for realtors to sell a possibly-haunted property, but one survey finds that prospective buyers aren’t easily spooked out of buying ghoulish real estate. Realtor.com’s 2013 Haunted Housing Report found that 26 percent of the 1,400 people surveyed indicated they would consider buying a haunted house.

Americans love a good scary movie, particularly around one of our favorite times of the Year, Halloween. YES !!!. We LOVED it as kids cause of all the candy soon to make us all diabetics. But we really, really like it as adults ’cause we get a chance to scream the ba-jesus out ourselves with the help of ALL those Bad, oh so very BAD, Horror Flicks. So. Why disappoint yourself and miss out on all that foolishness? Join the rest of Gotham and get your annual SCARE in at your local Movie Theater this year for Halloween. Or. Better yet. Stay home and frighten ALL those little, precious, costumed monsters that will be arriving at your doorstep at this year’s Halloween celebration. And. Perhaps if you’re in a major city as I am, prepare for a Night of Celebration with the rest of your city’s Ghouls. Go out in the Streets on Halloween Night, October 31st & Scream your pretty little head off. You’ll feel so much better. Later…..!!!

In this part of the World, this is some serious stuff. If you’re feeling a little dearing,  perhaps you can get out one of your old Holloween costumes and go for it. Though I must warn you, the Talent at these Competitions is pretty fierce. But who knows, you just might be the Next American Idol or America’s Got Talent Winner Competitor. It all depends on how well you move the audience.

Party over here ..Heidi & Seal

Heidi Klum and SealThe A-list’s Halloween Costumes By Emma Sells | The A-list got into the spirit of Halloween this weekend and worked some pretty impressive costumes. Rachel Zoe donned a squaw costume, Liv Tyler and Gwen Stefani both appear to be chanelling a very sexy Cat Woman and Anne Hathaway went animal print crazy. Kate Beckinsale put some serious effort into her Bride of Frankenstein costume, complete with oppulent powdered wig, a patent corset and husband Len Wiseman decked out as the monster himself. But winning the best dressed award by miles are Heidi Klum and husband Seal. The duo are notoriously big fans of fancy dress – each year they renew their wedding vows in different costumes and Heidi’s annual Halloween party has seen her dressed as Shiva, the apple from the Garden of Eden (complete with snake) and arrive riding a horse. But we think they may have outdone themselves this time around with their superhero costumes. We suspect Heidi is going to be finding bits of glitter about her person for months to come. – – more on this HERE

“Vanity” – Portrait Painting by Sam Spratt

Jocelyn, the female winner of my portrait contest, wanted to be Zombified and brought somewhere into the 1920’s-1950’s. I actually colored her originally with very pastel/flat tones to create something of a vintage illustrated advertisement—but found her appearance too classy/dark to be an advertisement—even ironically so. As a result, I went back into the black and white and started reworking my painting to be a bit more photographic in feel. WTF was Whoopi wearing at the ‘Tony’s’ ..?

photo of The View's Whoopi Goldberg, who attended the Tony Awards in NYC on June 12.The View‘s Whoopi Goldberg, who attended the Tony Awards in NYC on June 12, 2011 looks very disappointed that everyone’s mouth was bouncing off the Red Carpet because of this getup she was wearing.  Unfortunately, I think Whoopi didn’t get a chance to tell everyone [especially the one’s that had to be put on oxygen],  that She was headed back to the Met’s Costume Institute after the Awards to hang the outfit back up on the dress form She took it off from last Halloween. Well,  it is quite obvious to me that Whoopi made a slight “mistake” in Her choice in what to wear to this Annual Award Show. Dressing like your Great, Great, Great, Great Grand Momma did, in Her Sunday Go to Meetin‘ Ensemble, is just Wrong for such Vital occasions like the Tony’s. Look! I Love and Adore Whoopi. She’s one of my favorite People on the Planet, therefore I can forgive Whoopi, this time, ONLY.  But Please, for Christ sake‘s Darlin’, please, please don’t try this stunt again in this lifetime. Understand this Dear. The reason we have ‘Stylist’ in the world of Fashion, is simple. Here’s Why. It is basically in order to prevent Horrors like this from taking place. I know You didn’t mean to ‘Hurt’ us all like this Whoopi. But, you did hurt our eyes & brains to a point where I personally did the unthinkable and opened the draw in my home, where I keep my .45 & strongly considered ending it ALL! This was a very, very, very painful experience for me. Especially since I am a Seasoned Fashion Pro. I tried making  excuses for You to my Friends. I said to my Friends. Maybe, just maybe She forgot to take Her Medication. Then one of my Friends responded to my comment by saying “…well what if She is not on medication Miss Thing”. I then told her, “…well after this debacle Whoopi proved the even stronger need for Drugs in this World”! Looking at You, Whoopi on TV that night at the ‘Tony’s’  made everyone hallucinate, viciously. Never again, I beg You!

HINT for Whoopi: Leave Fashion ‘Risk Taking’ to the Skilled and Trained Professional “Stylist”. They are ALL there to Help You. And Sister, this Faux-pas was  screaming for HELLLLL P! If Your ‘Stylist’ fails You, then You simply will have some recourse. The way You handled it Whoopi, ain’t “nobody” to blame, except the Your Designer & You. And He did nothing wrong, he designed a descent dress but not suited for the ‘occasion’. Know what I am sayin’ gurrrl friend? Your Designer, ‘Christian Siriano’ is obviously, NOT A STYLIST.
