Kathy Griffin certainly isn’t shy about showing off her body. The 51-year-old comedienne stripped off her top for the new issue of Out magazine. She called on Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson to help her recreated Janet Jackson’s famous pose from the 1993 cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

In the shot, Griffin’s jeans are undone and she’s showing her underwear; Ferguson also appears to be shirtless.
The Out 100 is a list of the most influential men and women in the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community.
The featured celebrities recreated iconic portraits in the issue; Griffin and Ferguson, 36, requested that they put their own spin on Jackson’s famous shot.

Being poor and gay in New York at the turn of the 90s wasn’t all Paris Is Burning drag realness, there was also a darker side to all of that fabulous, fierce and ferocious stuff, as many transvestites and transsexuals worked as prostitutes and hung around the city’s meatpacking district. Japanese-born New York resident and photographer Katsu Naito began shooting photos of the trans-prostitutes he saw at the time and earlier this year finally published the pics in his book West Side Rendezvous.
During the 1950s, the paperback as well as the magazines, rocketed in popularity. With the lifting of paper shortages and the collapse of the pulp magazine distribution network, the paperback became the dominant format for Gay and Lesbian fiction publishing. There’s a wide selection of these classic paperbacks, in great shape, from this era, online. What is pulp fiction? Pulp fiction is the popular fiction published on cheap wood pulp paper between 1920 – 1955. The Special Collections Research Center recently acquired an important collection of 1960s and 1970s gay pulp fiction novels issued by local publisher Guild Press. Guild Press was a mail-order paperback book service founded in 1962 by former Georgetown University philosophy professor H. Lynn Womack that specialized in pulp fiction aimed at a gay male readership. These books can be found by searching in the ALADIN catalog. On the other hand, Lesbian Role Distinction in the 1950’s, Sexuality, Social Life, and Public Image are all compiled with a somewhat unique history. But, in lieu of ALL the Studies, Research, Advertising & Progress, Closeted LGBT Men & Women still are bursting at the seams in Closets that remain “Full to Capacity”. Oh well! Maybe One Day, many, many light-years from now, distinctions about Sexuality will not have to distinguished, discussed or taught, rather it’ll be “Extinguished” completely in order for People to be just who they are.

The Annual Los Angeles LGBT Pride Parade was a blast with our Grand Marshall, none other than JOHNNY WEIR Himself, the Olympic World Champion Ice Skating Princess. The crowd couldn’t get enough of Him. MARGARET CHO as well, brought Her CHO Ho’s with Her to complete the frosting on Top. Some other celebrities included folks like ‘Gloria Allred‘, the Mayor of Los Angeles, ‘Maria Conchita Alonzo’ and many, many more. It was definitely a most ‘colorful’ Extravaganza.
