In this part of the World, this is some serious stuff. If you’re feeling a little dearing, perhaps you can get out one of your old Holloween costumes and go for it. Though I must warn you, the Talent at these Competitions is pretty fierce. But who knows, you just might be the Next American Idol or America’s Got Talent Winner Competitor. It all depends on how well you move the audience.
Celia Cruz, the “Queen of Salsa Music,” was one of the most successful Salsa performers of the 20th century. Born in Havana, Cuba, she originally studied to be a teacher. After winning a talent contest, Cruz decided to pursue singing. She won three Grammys and three Latin Grammys before her death in 2003. and Around, and Around and Around! Kirstie Alley, please. What in heavens is this Woman trying to prove? This demonstration of true awkwardness on Mondays, DWTS, clearly illustrates why Ballerinas titter on 100 pounds or less. When two people are dancing, implicitly, with one depending on the others movement and response, while in motion, it is no wonder why those two people need to be extremely light on their feet and in shape. The DWTS Show has turned into a “Pity Palace of Wanabees”. There some things in this world that should be held Sacred and not contorted with People of questionable talent with aspirations of being Prodigy‘s. Leave the Dancing to Trained, Skilled, Seasoned Professionals who can engage an audience, instead of embarrassing Us and Themselves. The most dramatic moment of last night’s performance was when Maksim Chmerkovskiy suffered a spasm in his thigh, which sent him and partner Kirstie Alley to the dance floor, shortly after they began their dance.
The Ukrainian-born ballroom bad boy and comedic actress extraordinaire quickly composed themselves, however, and resumed their rumba to ‘Over the Rainbow,’ earning applause from the audience and classy comments from the judges, who praised them for their inspiring comeback… read more
